Prestige VDL is sold to New Zealand
Prestige VDL is a 10 year KWPN stallion by Silvano out of a mare by Gootimes. The stallion had been in training with Edward Gal and has been sold to Lisa Blackbourn of New Zealand. VDL Prestige will travel to his new home at the end of September where he will stand at stud. His new owner will also continue his dressage sporting career at the FEI level.
Blackbourn told www.eurodressage.com "I will start competing him at Prix St Georges level once we have formed a partnership with the goal of starting him GP by the end of 2008. He is an incredibly talented horse, especially for the Grand Prix movements, and his character is exceptional. He really wants to work for you. I feel very honored to own such a fantastic horse."
Prestige VDL is approved for breeding with the KWPN and Swedish warmblood society. In 2004 he won the stallion competition before he headed to Edward Gals' stable for his FEI training.
